About Me

Gabe Kaplan is an award-winning director, editor, and producer based in Los Angeles, fluent across the full creative stack — strategy, cinematography, editing, animation, and design. He founded INKA Media in 2025 and runs it end to end.

A graduate of Brown University with honors in Modern Culture & Media and Literary Arts, he spent 2022–2025 as a Story and World Coordinator at Stone Kite Studios — a stealth-mode game studio founded by the creator of Halo and Destiny. He went on to co-found cables.news and PIPSQUEAK.

His work has been featured on KCRW, NPR, and SMDP, and has won at the Ivy Film Festival, NYIFF, Indie Shorts Awards, Hollywood Shorts Fest, Patagonia Film Festival, and more. Today his projects span documentary, commercial, social, and event coverage — for doctors, news outlets, nonprofits, founders, and artists across LA.
