On February 2, 2025, a group of Wikipedia volunteers gathered at the Hammer Museum in Westwood for an emergency “Edit-a-thon”. Veteran Wikipedia editors collaborated with community volunteers to update and amend pages impacted by the LA wildfires. History is written in the moment.
